ASB Events

ASB puts on three different events for students throughout the year. The events are held every other Thursday at 5:45pm, starting September 11th. See the calendar on the events page for more information.

General Meetings

Our general meetings are a chance for our members to meet and talk about different aspects of ASB. Future events are outlined and discussed, volunteer hours are set up, and any issues are voted on. This is our members' chance to voice any concerns, make suggestions, or just converse in a comfortable setting with fellow business enthusiasts.

Showcases

The showcases we put on feature a business professional from the local community. We have them come in and give a presentation about their business and themselves, what inspired them, and any advice they might have for those interested in business. These showcases are a wonderful way to learn from leaders, ask them questions, and network.

Workshops

For our workshops, we get together a group of business professionals to discuss certain topics and answer questions students might have about those topics. Some of the workshops we have planned include Surviving and Thriving at UAF, Banking and Finance, and Professionally Presenting Yourself. The panel ofprofessionals give a short presentation on the choosen topic and the majority of the time is left for Q&A.
